Our company strives to simultaneously create “environmental and social value” and “economic value” through our corporate efforts. The AGP group aims to create both a “sustainable environmental society” and “sustainable growth towards increasing AGP’s corporate value in the future” by promoting ESG management that takes into consideration the “environment,” “society,” and “governance.” Our goal is to achieve a virtuous cycle of strategic investments for growth and the return of results to stakeholders (shareholders, employees, and society). We also believe that people are the driving force behind creating value. Our view is that achieving enhanced corporate value would not be possible without the growth of our employees and endeavor to grow as a company together with our employees.

Environment

AGP’s Environmental Policy
Our company has and continues to contribute to creating an environmental society through our corporate ventures such as the promotion of GPUs. Going forward, we will continue to make further contributions towards achieving decarbonization and reducing our impact on the environment, with the aim of enhancing our corporate value in the medium-to-long term. Initiatives towards the promotion of airport decarbonization (initiatives towards 100% usage of GPU, development of next-generation products through the introduction of new technologies, including the expansion of new, next-generation businesses in the environmental sector) Optimization of resource usage (strive to reduce consumption and disposal rate of resources and focus on the 3Rs [reduce, re-use, recycle])
AGP’s Initiative Goals
Our goal is to reduce CO2 emissions below 33.5 tons (our result in 2019) by the end of FY2025. We will strive towards the goal of 100% GPU usage by the end of FY2030 and further contribute to CO2 emission reductions in airports.

Society

AGP’s Policy—Towards Improved Employee Engagement
We place greater importance on employees as stakeholders in the business and strategically invest in the development and training of personnel. Through a human resources management system that prioritizes the happiness and health of all employees, we provide an environment where employees can focus on their work with a sense of purpose and security. AGP will create an environment where personnel from all walks of life can contribute to the value creation of the company over the long term by deepening our understanding of diverse business operations across the management team and all employees.
AGP’s Initiative Goals
We aim to have women make up more than 10% of new hires and to achieve a 100% maternity leave uptake rate. We will ensure that diversity management, which is essential for our corporate initiatives, is completely integrated in all employees.

Governance

AGP’s Policy
In line with the concept of the Standard Market, we will maintain the fundamental governance standards required of a listed company while committing to management that promotes sustainable growth and the long-term enhancement of corporate value. We aim to strengthen our management foundation by establishing appropriate governance structures, enhancing transparency and fairness, and reinforcing risk management. We will also aim to enhance the development, integration, and operation of mechanisms for monitoring and controlling to ensure that fair judgment and management are upheld in corporate governance.
AGP’s Initiative Goals
At present, there are 19 items of the corporate governance code that we have not complied with. As of June 2022, we have achieved five of these items and our policy is to achieve full compliance with all items across the four-year period of our medium-term management plan.
